Spring is here! It’s time for warm weather, fresh produce, and lots of time outside. It also means moving out of our winter hibernation and back into the world – which calls for a little more energy and maybe even a shedding of some winter, well, layers.
I am all for eating more vegetables and adding greens to your smoothie for breakfast. But sometimes you just need a little sweetness. And when it comes to sweets – the simpler, the better. Natural sugars from fruit are just as sweet as processed sugar, but the fruit also contains vitamins, fiber, and nutrients to balance out the sugar. No extra sugar needed 😉
