Raspberry Smoothie

I am all for eating more vegetables and adding greens to your smoothie for breakfast. But sometimes you just need a little sweetness. And when it comes to sweets – the simpler, the better. Natural sugars from fruit are just as sweet as processed sugar, but the fruit also contains vitamins, fiber, and nutrients to balance out the sugar. No extra sugar needed πŸ˜‰

If you are craving something sweet, tart, and a little tangy, this one fits the bill.

Raspberries and Lemons for the sweet-tart flavor combo. Greek yogurt (optional) for a little tangyness. Banana for extra sweetness. Coconut Milk for a creamy, dreamy texture. Whip them up and you are good to go. No veggies needed – Just fruit, vitamins, and protein for the days when you need a little extra sweetness πŸ™‚

Here are the details:

Raspberry Lemonade Smoothie:

1/2 cup fresh raspberries

1 frozen banana

1/2 cup Greek Yogurt (plain) – omit if vegan

1/2 cup coconut milk (more is needed)

Juice of one lemon

Add all ingredients to your ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth. Garnish with a few raspberries and enjoy!
