I can’t belive it is already the end of September. And it is 100 days until the first of the New Year. 2014.
That’s just crazy!!
And as the holidays approach, and the wind picks up outside, you just might find yourself in a whirlwind, with time flying, your calendar growing more packed and much shorter by the minute. And the one thing we usually let go of is Self-Care. In fact, Self-Care is the one thing that most of us neglect whether we are busy or not. We sped too much time taking care of others at home and at work, and simply forget to take care of ourselves. But the old saying is true (and tweetable!)
For this reason, I created the event 100 Days. 100 Poses.
It;s simple. Completely non-overwhelming, And really fun! Each day, whenever and wherever the mood hits you, strike a pose, snap a pic, and upload it to your favorite(s) social media site. And hashtag #100days100poses (with twitter @househealthy is welcomed!). You can also share it to the House of Healthy wall and I’ll share it out to the world as well. It can be a very basic pose, something advanced, or even something that you are just trying out. Anything goes, because it is all beautiful.

But first, I have a super easy, refreshing drink for you to rehydrate with after playing around with all those yoga poses 😉
Strawberry Mint Refresher:
Makes 2+Servings. Feel free to add more or less berries and mint.
1 liter sparkling water (make your own if you have an appliance for it or buy a bottle)
4 halved, frozen strawberries
1/4 cup mint leaves
Grab two 1.5 pint mason jars. Add in some ice, strawberries, and int leave. Top it off with sparkling water. Screw on the top and give it a gentle shake to stir it up. let it sit for 2 minutes and enjoy! The strawberries and mint will infuse the bubbly water with flavor, naturally and without chemical flavorings.
